Applying to become a Muvia partner and your data

This notice explains how Superduck S.r.l. handles the data of those who send the «Become a partner» form: which data, why, for how long and with which rights, as Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) requires.

1Who handles the data

The data controller is Superduck S.r.l., the company that makes Muvia, with its registered office at Piazza Maestri del Lavoro 7, 20063 Cernusco sul Naviglio (MI), VAT no. IT13202240969, REA MI-2708766, share capital € 20.000,00 i.v.

For any question about your data, or to exercise your rights, write to the certified email (PEC) [email protected].

2Which data we collect

When you send the application:

  • first name, last name, email and, if you wish, phone;
  • company name, legal name, VAT number and website;
  • the type of partner, the industries you work in, the band of customers you follow and your skills, if you give any;
  • the message, if you write one;
  • the language of the page you write from and your consent to the notice;
  • a code derived from the IP address with a hash function and a secret value (salt): the IP address itself is not kept.

Every field of the form, except the phone and the message, is needed to assess the application: without them we cannot assess it.

3Why we handle it and on which basis

PurposeAssess your application to become a Muvia partner, write to you to confirm we received it and get back to you.
Legal basisSteps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
PurposeIf the application is approved: create the partner and the account of its salesperson.
Legal basisSteps taken before entering into a contract, and the contract you ask for (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
PurposeSecurity and abuse prevention: protect the form and limit repeated or automated requests, also with Google reCAPTCHA.
Legal basisLegitimate interest in protecting the service and those who use it (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

The form uses Google reCAPTCHA, a Google service that receives technical data from your browser, including the IP address, to tell a person from an automated program. Google handles it under its own privacy policy.

4How long we keep it

  • The data of the application has no fixed expiry: we keep it while the assessment lasts and, if the application is approved, while the partnership lasts.
  • You can ask us to erase it at any time by writing to the PEC: we erase it, except what we must keep by law.
  • If you object to the handling based on legitimate interest, we stop using the data for that purpose at once.

5Who receives the data

The data is handled by the people at Superduck authorised to do so and by providers acting as processors (Art. 28 GDPR), bound by a contract. They are, by category:

  • cloud hosting providers, with servers in the European Union;
  • providers of the email delivery service, such as the confirmation that the application was received;
  • Google, for reCAPTCHA, as described above.

We do not sell the data and do not pass it to third parties for their marketing.

6Transfers outside the European Union

We host the data in the European Union. If a provider handles it outside the Union, as may happen with Google reCAPTCHA, the transfer is made under the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission (Art. 46 GDPR).

7Your rights

At any time you can ask to access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict its handling, receive it in a machine-readable format and object to handling based on legitimate interest (Articles 15 to 22 GDPR). We take no decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

To exercise your rights write to the PEC [email protected].

If you think the handling of your data breaches the GDPR, you can lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (the Italian data protection authority).
