Share an analysis by link, no account needed

A customer, a supplier or a consultant needs to see an analysis but has no account. With a public link they see it read-only, always up to date, with real charts; the link is revoked in one click and every link created is recorded in the activity log.

Illustrative scenario: it describes a typical case, not a customer project.

Orders and deliveries from the ERP on SQL Server, complaints from Salesforce and service targets in Excel flow into Muvia, where they become an analysis; out come a read-only public link, a page with no login for whoever receives it, one-click revocation and a trace in the activity log.

An attachment is out of date the day after you send it.

To show a customer how deliveries are going, or a supplier why a batch caused trouble, you take a screenshot or export a PDF. The next day it is already old, the charts cannot be explored, and the next question needs another attachment.

Giving an account to someone outside the company is too much; sending a file is too little. A link to a live, read-only analysis sits in between, and closes when it is no longer needed.

Who it's for
Customer service, quality and purchasing teams who deal with customers and suppliers; outside consultants; the administrator who decides whether the company allows public links.

What you get

A link instead of an attachment
Whoever receives it sees the analysis up to date, not a snapshot of one day.
Real charts, not screenshots
The analysis views stay readable charts, with the same conditions and annotations.
No accounts to manage
Customers and suppliers never enter Muvia: they see that one analysis, read-only.
Under control
The administrator decides whether links are allowed, every link is revoked in one click and every creation is recorded.

For the technical team

How it is built in Muvia

  1. 1

    Build the analysis

In Analysis, add the series you need, with conditions that mark the critical periods, annotations, an XY chart, an hour-by-hour heatmap and day-by-day box plots.

  2. 2

    Switch public links on

The company administrator decides whether public links are allowed. Switching them off deletes nothing: links simply stop opening until they are switched back on.

  3. 3

    Create the link

From Share, choose Public and create the link. It is shown only once; the period is fixed or "the last N days", so whoever opens it always sees recent data.

  4. 4

    Send it, then revoke it

Whoever receives the link opens the analysis without logging in, read-only. The link does not expire on its own: it is revoked in one click, and both creation and revocation stay in the activity log.

The data it needs
  • Orders, deliveries and promised dates from the ERP on SQL Server
  • Complaints and non-conformities from Salesforce
  • Service targets agreed with the customer, from an Excel file
